The Repair Call, Start to Finish

Most systems that stop working in Culver City are not finished. A capacitor swells, a contactor pits, an igniter cracks, a drain line clogs, or a coil starts leaking. Each of those is a repair, and each one can be found with a meter and a gauge set instead of a guess.

The houses here add their own faults. Carlson Park and Lucerne-Higuera bungalows often still run galvanized ducts with separated joints, and some Blair Hills homes still heat with a floor furnace. Condensers on the Culver Crest slopes get boxed in by the next house. Out toward Mar Vista and Venice, salt air pits uncoated coils early. We check for those first because they are what we find.

If the repair stops making sense, for example a failed compressor on an old system, we say so and put the repair price and the replacement price on the same written estimate. You choose. Nothing gets changed until you approve it, and when a replacement does happen, we pull the Culver City mechanical permit and book the city inspection.
